Baba Neem Karoli is considered the avatar of lord Hanumanji, In 1948 there was month long Gayathri Yagna organised, Dada Murkhjee noticed that when the yagna was about to be completed Manohar Pant ji was at Vishnu kutir and he was at the feet of Maharaj ji he was sobbing like a child, crying making sounds maa maa, maa (Mother) he was very emotional. Dada Murkhjee did not understand what was going on and he was wondering why is Manohar Pant calling Baba as Maa, he went close and saw Maharaj ji had put his kambal just like Matharani and was wiping the tears of Pant, meanwhile this went on for ten minutes and Manohar Pant became unconscious.

  Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj is considered the avatar of lord Hanumanji, at the ashram almost around 25 meters from the entrance is a Slab of Granite this is where Baba Maharaj was meeting visitors and devotees alike , right next to it stood a dead Utis tree ( Indian or Nepalese Alder Tree) senior devotees of Babaji were worried that the tree may fall and cause harm to Maharaj ji and also to the visitors.

Now when the meal time came the Sadhu served meals to Babaji Maharaj and to all disciples present there, Baba Neem Karoli refused to eat and spoke to Sadhu saying " That food which you have kept as Bhog (offering to God) you serve that to me, first the sadhu was taken back he wondered how did Baba come to know about the special bhog, sadhu was taking the special food and serving ordinary food to his shishyas. Once a devotee wanted to visit Kainchi Dham he had only 25 rupees in purse he calculated the cost of the entire trip including expenses for purchasing flowers, fruits and sweets for Maharaj ji and his own food expenditure, bus charge for onward journey and return ticket according to his calculation the price came 24 rupees. Saying to himself that this should be enough, he set to meet Neem Karoli Baba at Kainchi Dham, after buying flowers, fruits, sweets & the bus ticket he found he was only left with rupees 5 which would be just enough for the return journey his worry was if he were to spend another one rupee he would fall short of his return ticket, so thinking he reached Kainchi Dham took Maharaj ji Darshan.   One day Ramakrishna Paramahamsa called Vivekananda near to him and told him to bow down, touching his head he said to Vivekananda my child I have transferred all my powers to you saying so the Paramhamsa was in tears, Swami Vivekananda asked his master why he was in crying, Sri Ramakrishna said I won't alive for long ; one day the whole world will honor you seeing those visuals tears of joy are over flowing. Swami Vivekananda was confused he couldn't understand by touching another persons head what kind of powers can be transferred or which audience awaits a man ; who has taken sanyasa to go towards Himalayas.

Although Saints look just like us, they too feel hunger, face disease and go through old age, every living being has to endure bodily afflictions,  yet In a saint the divine person is encased in the human frame but is not entirely identical. A Self Realised man may be a wood cutter although he continues cutting old he is not attached to it ; the realized wood cutter may look very ordinary yet he is not the same as we are, the saint has experienced absolutely shunya or Nirvana sthiti, we are always after some or the other high and end up in a bottom less pit.

Blessed Land of Million Saints  Ramana Maharshi took cancer upon himself, Shirdi Sainath took so many diseases of his devotees thereby enduring their pain. One great Sant Maharaj in North Karnataka had a handicapped devotee with both legs crippled the day before his Maha Samadhi Maharaj kept scolding the crippled devotee and started throwing stones at him telling him not to enter the ashram, the devotee did not move an inch and replied to the Sant Maharaj leaving you I have no support in life, I don't believe a loving mother will ever abandon her child and Iam your feet servant I shall not leave, Maharaj ji came out of his room still aggressively spoke to him,  to the loka (other world) Iam going I do not need these legs you can have them, I have no need of them anymore.

Once Shrimati Kamala Pandey had a dream in which she found Maharaj ji sitting on a thakhat in the front portion room of the ashram facing the road side. At a distance a few young men were singing obscene songs and making lewd gestures as they were passing by, Kamla ji, noticed even Sri Ma, and Sri Jivanti Ma were also in the room and appeared disturbed by the young men’s indecent behavior near the ashram. 

A young fellow (Bheem) once came to the ashram and Maharaji asked him how he was, and he said, “Oh, Maharaji, I’ve overcome anger.” Maharaji said, “Oh, very good!” and kept praising him.  Meanwhile another devotee persistent and wanted Maharaji to visit his house, Neem Babaji kept telling him your father doesn't like saints or sadhus why do you want to take me there, the devotee still requested adamantly and finally Babaji accepted, he asked Bheem to accompany him, when Baba visited the devotees home, he choose to sit on the high seat meant for the devotees father (old man head of family) and moreover asked the family members to sit on the floor.  If these actions were not enough a trigger, he said to the old man in ridiculing way " You are Great Saint" for whom beds are always warm (Baba knew devotee fathers illegal activities) the old man kept control and did not react ; Maharaj ji went again close to his ears repeated the same twice, thrice & more, the old man lost

  Apple Founder Steve Jobs said to Mark Zuckerberg whenever you feel everything is lost in life or in immense distress/worries go to Kainchi Dham and spend some good time there, the Maharaj there is merciful and benevolent 🤍 (Neem Karoli Baba) he shall recharge you, Zuckerberg came to India visited Guru Maharaja ji ashram and had planned to stay for a day. Bad weather extended his stay, mark says he was blessed like never before.

  Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj is considered avatar of lord Hanumanji, Once in 1968 a devotee Raji Anand along with her Mother went to Kainchi Dham, the moment Baba saw them Baba Maharaj spoke to Rajis Mother ; take this 2 rupees and get her married, Raji was unwilling to take money from Baba she said to Maharaj ji your ashirwad is enough this money is not needed, Baba Neem Smiled and replied, you will need them to go further keep it. While returning back home Raji noticed that they were short by exactly 2 Rupees of the bus fare, she realized the words that Baba Maharaj said 'You will need them to go further keep it"  they thanked Maharaj for saving them from this embarrassing situation.

  Srimathi P had no interest in any Gurus or Sadhus, she didn't have any belief in Holy men, yet during her visit to nainital she came to know about Neem Karoli Baba ji, just out of curiosity she went to Kainchi Dham ; Babaji was standing on the doorstep of his room as soon as he saw Srimathi P he thundered why have you come her go enjoy your vacation there nothing of your interest here Babaji repeatedly said this twice. Srimathi P replied I have not come here for your darshan I just want your photograph that's all. Baba said Take one from there only, Srimathi P said again it's dark out there in your room can you come out  I will take only one photograph and leave, for which Maharaj ji again said "No need it will come take One and Go Now" 

Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj is considered avatar of lord Hanumanji, Once Babaji was at Birla Mandir Delhi, many devotees came to meet Maharaj ji and Radha Shyam was looking after Baba Maharaj he was regulating the flow of devotees to Babas Room and for the whole day Radhay Shyam use to stand near the door and do the same. Wherever Maharaj ji went a crowd of devotees were some how come to know and there use to be flood of people to meet the Saint. One man everyday was sitting in the corner of the waiting hall and did not even make an attempt to approach Radhay Shyam this went for few days, one fine day Baba Maharaj ji came out of his room Directly went this man and spoke to him, this man said Maharaj we  are only 3 people including myself, my wife and one son, my son is missing from 1947, I wanted to know whether he is alive or dead if alive will I meet him again.
